WHITE DOG FARM
Equestrian Apprentice Program
At White Dog Farm, girls learn what it takes to care for and safely ride horses,
including proper safety measures, basic horsemanship and animal care. Spending time with horses
is not only a lot of fun, it also helps girls build self esteem and confidence.
WDF’s Equestrian Apprentice program is designed for girls ages 11 and older who have some
previous horseback riding experience. Participants will groom and tack horses, assist
with teaching younger riders and learn barn management skills.
This half-day session is $20/person. Add a riding lesson for an additional $20.
Schedule:
Every Saturday and 1st and 3rd Thursdays from 8am -12pm all summer. Please call for appt.
