The Best Suet Recipe Ever
1 Cup Lard (not shortening)
1 Cup Peanut Butter
3 Cups Cornmeal
1 Cup Flour
Bird Seed, Chopped Nuts and/or Raisins (optional)
Melt the lard and stir in the rest of the ingredients. Press into holes drilled in a log or mold it into a cake for a traditional suet basket. Can be used year round.
